Setting The Table

My grandmother taught me the art of setting a "proper" table, but lately I've just gotten lazy (paper towels for napkins, anyone?), and I'm just not a formal sort of gal anyway.  But, when I came across the gorgeous table settings created by the talented Bill at Affordable Accoutrements, they inspired me to step up my game for my next dinner guests!

I chose three settings I loved, and they each have distinct feeling about them.  Which is your favorite?

I love this purple...

Love the pops of red and mismatched chairs...
Serene and natural...

i used to set fancy tables for guests (not as fancy as above!), but i've gne down the simple route these days. rustic, clean lines...

but i would love to be a guest at such tables!

i'm all about the flower arrangements! I feel like it can really make the table. I also never buy the flowers, nature provides them.

Monica ~ I'm the same as you and tend set a more "earthy" table. These are definitely fantasy table settings!

Sara ~ agree about the flowers. And also candles...they make all the difference.
